10:00 - We went out on this cloudy day but with no wind and waves, we had a sea full of potential in front of us. Waiting for us we had a pod of 4 to 5 white-beaked dolphins that were a bit shy so we left them alone and went on to search for more stuff. Not too far we had another pod of dolphins and they were more fun so we stayed a while. They were bow riding a lot and spooking our passengers in a fun way of course. News came of something bigger and we went on to find it. There were 2 minke whales in the area and one of them came to check us out super close. A really nice encounter with these cetaceans! On the way back we stumbled upon the first pod of dolphins that we saw and they were as happy as we were to see them.

14:00 - Good sea conditions this afternoon in Faxaflói bay. We went in the same area than this morning and found 5-6 pods of 4-6 white-beaked dolphins. They seemed to be in a very good mood with some of them jumping falling in big splashed, some following our boat and right under the bow of our vessel. We even had a dolphin that was jumping in our direction so much we thought it was going to join onboard! But it slightly changed direction and kept jumping behind us. After a while with those white-beaked dolphins we tried to explore other areas hoping to find other species of cetaceans but we could not find any so we headed back to the harbour.
