What did we see today: humpback whales, minke whales, white beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises, puffins

Grey skies and a little bit of drizzle didn't dampen the spirits today as we were treated to a humpback whale lobtailing and very inquisitive dolphins on the morning tour. The humpback was first seen restfully surfacing and all of a sudden lifted it´s enormous fluke and slammed it onto the water's surface. Not long after, dolphins cruised over to check us out, popping up within a meter of the boat, before disappearing out of sight.

Afternoon seas were smooth and mirror-like, dorsal fins of minkes and harbour porpoises were seen all around us as they constantly surfaced.  Above us the birds put on a show - northern gannets diving, arctic terns screaming and razorbills and puffins floated on the surface.
