The day started a little bit windy which stirred the sea from the west. After journeying out into the bay to our desired whale watching areas we saw a large group of gannets feeding intensely. After waiting patiently, a pod of white beaked dolphins surfaced and cruised gracefully through the waves. Once in that area, with engines off, many minke whales started to appear. On a couple of occasions a whale emerged 10metres from our RIB. One tour sighted a humpback whale, although this was a brief, one time sighting.
