The beautiful conditions within Faxaflói continued today, with perfectly flat seas and clear, sunny skies. We motored out into the bay after stopping at Akurey to view the magnificent puffins perched in the entrance of their burrows. Shortly after, we encountered very inquisitive harbour porpoises that swam alongside us. Within 30 seconds of leaving the porposes, two minke whales surfaced and just beyond the whales, white beaked dolphins were leaping. We had three species all around our boat at the same time! We decided to head slowly towards the dolphins and we were not disappointed. The dolphins started to bow ride, leapt from the water and even swam within a metre of our passengers. All were very happy and came away with awesome pictures of the wildlife
