What did we see today: Harbour Porpoises, Minke Whales, Humpback Whale, White Beaked Dolphins & Puffins

Amazing morning trip with the fins of harbour porpoises popping up all around us. After coming to a stop, the little cetaceans came within 5metres of the rib to get a good look of our boat.

Soon after a minke surfaced swimming in a large circle over several surfaces. To cap the morning off white beaked dolphins joined the party, leaping clear of the water. The afternoon surely couldn't be any better?

The trip started off very similar, porpoises then a minke whale and then we saw an enormous breach from a very large humpback whale.

We made our way over slowly and the breach happened again! After a couple of breaches the whale became very lazy, surfacing and diving without showing it’s tail.
