Our ship is the only high speed, specially modified, whale watching ship in Iceland. Capable of carrying 200 persons with unsurpassed views from our “cinema styled” viewing platforms. Its speed guarantees availability of whale watching tours from Akureyri, where ever the whales might be located in this, the deepest fjord in Iceland.

Location of starting point: Whale Safari ticket office at the floating pier at Hof Cultural and Convention Centre in downtown Akureyri. You can't miss it.
Duration of trip: 3 hours.
Hotel pick up: Hotel pick up is unnecessary in Akureyri, all the hotels and guesthouses are within walking distance of our our ticket office at Hof.
Minimum: No minimum number of participants. If you are booked you are going.
Age limit: No minimum ages.
Bring with you: Dress warmly for our northern ocean, so if you have it, bring warm outdoor clothing like a wool or fleece sweater, some warm headgear and gloves. Sturdy shoes are recommended.**
** We will supply you with a very warm overall and more gear, as well as having some sweaters to lend.
